Design for Privacy
A high screen was needed for the second story rooms in back, as was a play yard for the young children. In front they wanted to claim some space, without creating an “unfriendly” wall of green. I saw the need to reduce the street’s glare at their front door, but they didn’t want an impenetrable wall of plants. Drought tolerant plantings were chosen for a partial screen along the front southern exposure. The planting design provided precisely for what the clients wished.
“...how happy we are with the way the garden has turned out! It’s made such a difference, and you did exactly what I wanted!” D Teeters -Architect
